Hi! My name is Rachel Paxton, and I am a freelance writer and homeschooling mom and grandma. Our children range in age from 30 to 8, and our grandson is a year old. I have been sharing my homeschooling and parenting tips on this web site for more than 15 years.
After graduating from college with a degree in English and business administration, I was employed as a technical editor for 10 years before quitting my full time job to work from home full time and devote more of my time to raising and homeschooling my three young sons. I was born and raised in southeastern Washington state and currently live on a one-acre homestead where we raise chickens, ducks, turkeys, and two rabbits.
Follow my boards on Pinterest to see what I have been up to. You can find all my homemaking tips and canning recipes on my other web site.
To contact me, or for interview and/or freelance writing requests, you can contact me at rachel.paxton@gmail.com.
Throughout the years I have written hundreds of home- and family-related articles.
